外出用のPCとして12インチのMacBookを使っている”ぞの（@z02n05）”です。
軽くて薄い、だけどパワフルなアイテムとしてフル活用しています。
そのためサブ機としては文句の付け所がないのですが、ここで敢えて一つだけ欠点を言ってしまいましょう。
それは、薄すぎるため、開けるときに指紋がついてしまうことです。
MacBookは、とにかく薄いことで有名です。これ以上、薄いパソコンは登場しないんじゃないかと思ってしまいます。
しかし薄いことにも、ほんの小さな欠点がありました。
閉じているMacBookを開けるとき、画面に指紋がついてしまうことです。
MacBookには開けやすいように、このような凹みがあります。
ここに指を引っ掛けて開けるのですが、不器用な僕の指はなかなか引っかかってくれません。
爪を立ててしまうと、画面が傷つくことが明らかなので、開けるときはいつも慎重に指の腹を使います。
そして何度か挑戦することで、ようやく顔を拝むことができます。
僕のMacBookは、とてもシャイなので、なかなか顔を上げてくれないのです。
しかし、頑張って開けることに成功しても、画面上部に指紋がついてしまいます。
僕の開け方が悪いのか、指が太いことが悪いのかわかりません。
優しく開けるためには、この方法しかないので止むを得ませんが、この指紋が気になります。
手先の器用な人なら、画面枠縁の薄いアルミ部分で開けることができるかもしれませんが、僕には難しい。
開けにくさがMacBookで感じる唯一の欠点です。
手先が不器用な僕でも、開きやすいようなモデルを設計してくれることを祈るばかりです。
指紋を拭き取る時には、液晶のコーティングが剥がれないように専用のクリーナーを使ってください。
液晶のコーティングが剥がれてしまうかもしれません。
